Flat Ring Chainmail Hauberk Shirt, Riveted and Alternating, ID 9 mm, Mild Steel

Meticulously handmade by our skilled artisans, this chainmail hauberk shirt will make sure to provide robust protection on the battlefield. Wear it under your surcoat and pair it with a belt which will allow a better weight distribution and will make the wearing of your hauberk more effortless!

This hauberk is intricately HANDMADE from 17 gauge mild steel rings with a diameter of approximately 9 mm each, riveted using DOME RIVETS. For increased strength, the rings alternate with SOLID FLAT RINGS. This comes in medium, large, extra large, and double extra large sizes for you to pick a perfect fit for yourself. A clearer depiction of the sizes can be seen with the images. Measure your chest with a gambeson, taking the extra inches into account. If in doubt, choose a size larger.

Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
