Medieval Front Opened Padded Gambeson (Type 10) Handmade from Canvas Cotton

Our medieval front opened quilted gambeson is handmade from two layers of STURDY CANVAS COTTON sandwiching a thick layer of padding, making it a perfect armour on its own for any light infantry, archer, gunner, or any soldier relying on mobility to avoid a battle they don’t want to fight. It could also be worn under plate armour or chainmail, making them more comfortable to wear.

We are not talking about synthetic or ultra-slim padded gambesons available in the market. We are talking about ROBUST CANVAS and REAL PADDING, which makes a difference when looking for an authentic gambeson! Four leather straps and pure brass buckles provide an adjustable fit. It is available in six distinct sizes allowing you to pick the right fit for yourself!

The defective (blemished) version might show any one of the following signs of defects:

1. Faded color or signs of discoloring on the product.
2. Worn-out leather straps (part of the product’s closing system) or any extra fitting on the product such as rivets, decorations, buckles, etc.
3. Chipping off certain parts such as the product’s stitches, borders, or coatings (if any).
4. Signs of rust, corrosion, or scratches of any sort.
5. Raw leather edges and not finished smoothly like the standard version.
