This Medieval Quilted Gambeson with Detachable Sleeves is made to give you comfort, protection and easy movement. It has a strong cotton canvas outer layer, padding and a soft inner lining, to absorb shocks during LARP fights, training or stage shows.

The sleeves can be completely removed, which makes this three-layer gambeson very useful and practical. Keep the sleeves on when you want full protection or in cold weathers or take them off when you need to move more freely or when the weather is hot. The shoulder cords that hold the sleeves are sturdy and stay tied even with regular use.

The straight vertical quilting keeps the padding layers in place. This prevents the inner filling from causing discomfort. The high padded collar gives extra neck protection and also stops armor from rubbing against your skin.

There is a split at the back of the Quilted gambeson. This gives your legs more room to move when walking, running, kneeling or sitting. It also helps when wearing armor, so the coat doesn’t pull too tightly at the back.

The front closes with four leather straps and brass buckles, giving you an adjustable fit and a classic medieval appearance.
