Description

14th Century Spaulders with Besagues: These 14th century spaulders are designed as historically accurate shoulder armor. The curved pauldrons protect the shoulders while the floating besagues (rondels) shield the armpit area, covering the vulnerable arteries without restricting movement. This helps in protection exactly as used in medieval warfare.

16 Gauge Mild Steel: Handmade from 16 gauge mild steel, these steel spaulders are protective as well as wearable. The thickness gives reliable resistance to impact during combat training, tournaments and LARP events.

Functional Design: The floating besagues are mounted to move naturally with the arms, giving coverage and proper shoulder rotation. These medieval spaulders have a one size fits design and are intended to be laced to your armor.

Suitable for Use, Stage and Display: These spaulders are fully functional and appropriate for late medieval knightly tournaments, training, theatrical use or display. While inspired by 14th-century armor, it is also compatible with early 15th century spaulders setups.
