It is accurately patterned after Western European ceremonial pieces from the 11th-12th centuries. This piece was carefully crafted utilising the lost-wax casting method—an old metallurgical art in which the ring is first sculpted in wax, then encased in clay or plaster, and then burned away and replaced with molten bronze. This process allows for a rich depth of raised lettering and tactile texture along the band, giving each ring a unique aged surface and hand-finished shape.

The wide-band design with its firm, flat profile and inwardly smooth wall makes it wearable despite its bold, ceremonial presence. The script itself, cast in high relief, is reminiscent of monastic seals or Gothic phrases, embodying the ethos of the High Middle Ages, when metal, language, and belief merged into forms of personal expression.
