It is painstakingly HANDMADE from sturdy 16 gauge mild steel, lined with a comfortable and secure leather liner, and has a circumference of approximately 68 cm, ensuring that it will fit most heads. A strong chin strap with a brass buckle keeps the helmet in place during battles. Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
