As the XIII century drew closer to its end the helm slowly adopted a more and more pointy top shape in order to better deflect the strikes coming from above during battle. This 16-gauge mild steel armor is handmade, battle-ready, and comfortable with its padded liner. It fits all with a circumference of 72cm and has a strong chin strap with a brass buckle to keep the helmet in place. The cross is made of genuine brass, not electroplated. Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
