Description
This Medieval Bronze Eagle Emblem is inspired by heraldic motifs found across European coats of arms, military banners, and ceremonial attire from the 12th–15th centuries. The eagle seen as the king of birds, was a powerful symbol of strength, unity, and watchfulness in noble contexts.
Individually Lost Wax Cast in solid bronze, this emblem showcases crisp detailing in each feather and talon. The ancient cire perdue method—used by craftsmen for thousands of years, involves hand-carving a model in wax, encasing it in a mold, melting the wax away, and pouring molten bronze into the cavity. This labor-intensive process produces reproductions with subtle variations that make each piece unique.
Lightweight at just 7 grams, the Lost Wax Cast emblem can be stitched to heavy garments, riveted to leather belts or straps, or displayed as part of a collection. It’s ideal for LARP gear, medieval costumes, historical displays, or as a unique gift for history enthusiasts.
