Description
These butted chainmail leggings, resemble traditional leg armor worn by knights and soldiers of the Middle Ages. Designed for both protection and mobility, these chausses are made using 10 mm butted round rings in 16 gauge mild steel.
These medieval chainmail leggings are available in two finishes to suit different preferences and usage needs:
- Blackened Finish : Provides a rugged, battle-worn look while with added resistance to rust. Ideal for an authentic historical look.
- Zinc Polished Finish : Offers a bright, clean, and shiny look with excellent corrosion resistance. This finish is low maintenance and does not require regular oiling, making it convenient for frequent use.
Designed for full lower-body coverage, this chainmail leg armor extends from the waist down to the ankles and includes integrated chainmail foot protection.
Each piece is hand-assembled in the traditional 4-in-1 weave pattern, for historical authenticity with flexibility for movement. Whether used in LARP battles, theatrical performances, or film productions, these leg chainmail chausses deliver both visual impact and practical function.
For best comfort and wearability, these leggings are recommended to be worn over padded chausses or trousers. Please note that the integrated foot section requires adjustment and fitting before proper use.
