Description
These decorative metal studs are handcrafted from solid bronze using the ancient lost-wax casting method, which helps in producing fine details as well as strength. Supplied as a set of five, each mount has an elegant six-petal flower design with deep grooves for visual richness.
Flower-shaped bronze mounts like these were widely used from the 12th to 16th centuries across medieval and Renaissance Europe. They appeared on belts, armor, pouches, and garments, for both decorative and functional purposes. The six-petal flower motif was associated with vitality, growth, and harmony.
Each piece is cast with the traditional cire perdue (lost-wax) techniques practiced for thousands of years. After casting, every mount is hand-finished, for subtle surface textures and a naturally aged look. Over time, the bronze develops a deeper patina, enhancing its historical look.
These mounts work perfectly as metal rivet studs for belts, leather armor, bags, and restoration projects. They can also be used as a metal stud rivet detail on costumes or as bronze studs for historically inspired accessories. Their refined shape makes them suitable for decoration bronze applications and classic rosette decoration designs.
