Hedeby Viking Leather Shoulder Bag

Our Hedeby-style leather shoulder bag is inspired by real archaeological finds from one of the most well-known Viking trade towns. It’s made to look authentic while still being useful for everyday wear, crafted from 2.8–3 mm thick genuine leather that’s strong and long-lasting.

The top has a beautiful wooden frame that closes the bag, with reinforced leather loops stitched securely through it. On both sides of the wooden top, there are small holes where a braided canvas cord passes through, this works as both a strong handle and a shoulder strap, making it easy to carry anywhere.

Spacious and sturdy, this bag can hold your small tools, coins, or other personal things, just like Viking traders or travelers would have done.

The design comes from discoveries in Hedeby (Haithabu), a busy Viking town known for artistry and trade. Bags like this were used by Viking men and women to carry their daily essentials while working or traveling.
