Description
These High tensile chain mail rings are made from strong high-tensile steel wire and supplied as loose rings in a 1 kg bulk pack. Each ring has a 9 mm ID and is formed from 16 gauge wire, for excellent strength.
High-tensile wire is stronger than regular mild steel, which means these rings resist deformation better under stress. This makes them a better choice. The butted construction helps in fast assembly without the need for rivets, saving time and tools.
Historically, butted mail was widely used for lighter armor, repairs, and decorative sections. These rings for chainmail are suitable for hauberks, coifs, aventails, skirts, and custom projects.
Supplied in a normal finish, the rings give a raw, authentic look. They can be oiled or treated further depending on your project needs. As butted rings, they are suitable for costume armor, display pieces, and training gear rather than heavy combat use.
This pack works well as bulk chainmail rings for large builds and repairs, and as loose mail rings for mixing with existing chainmail or creating custom patterns.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wipe rings with a dry or lightly oiled cloth
