Description
This medieval frog is made from thick 3.0 – 3.2 mm genuine leather and for secure and practical holding of daggers and small axes. Strong, flexible, and compact, it keeps your utilities steady while giving you quick access during events or performances.
During the late medieval period, leather frogs were commonly used to carry side arms such as daggers and tools. They were worn on belts to keep weapons close at hand without restricting movement. This design is inspired by the same design, offering a simple and functional solution inspired by historical use.
The frog has an adjustable leather lace at the front, so that it fits different blade widths easily. This makes it suitable as a dagger frog or an axe frog, depending on your equipment. The rear belt loop is reinforced with antique brass rivets, for a secure fit on belts.
This medieval frog is compact and lightweight, and works perfectly as a dagger holder for LARP events, medieval festivals, stage use, or costumes. Its sturdy build and clean finish also make it a reliable leather frog for regular use.
