Description
This solid bronze bow brooch is a faithful reconstruction of a Lombardic fibula from the 6th century AD. Worn by Germanic elites during the Migration Period, brooches like this served both as practical fasteners and visual symbols of authority. The bold silhouette and sharply edged design mirror finds from across Pannonia, Northern Italy, and Germania.
Produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, the piece retains the crisp lines and texture of its historic counterparts. Whether fastened across a woolen cloak or displayed among early medieval artifacts, it captures the essence of Lombardic adornment—minimal and meaningful.
