Description
This Medieval Dungeon Key Set is inspired by classic dungeon and castle designs from the Middle Ages. It is handcrafted from iron and has 5 keys on one ring. The key set is polished to a black finish, for a strong, rustic appearance. It is durable, sturdy and made to last, so it will not get damaged easily. Despite their solid look, the keys are not very heavy and are lightweight enough to be carried around comfortably.
Material : The keys are hand forged, which means each one varies slightly in shape and form. The size of all five keys has been purposely kept different for a historical look and to make them resemble authentic dungeon keys. This set is made as a decorative skeleton key set and is not functional for locks. The irregular shapes are because of its hand forging.
History of the Medieval Dungeon Key Set: During the Middle Ages, key sets like this were used in castles, dungeons and fortresses. These large keys were all handmade, each medieval key an uneven shape.
Jailers, guards and officials carried key rings like this antique skeleton key set, making them an important part of castle life. The different sizes helped identify specific locks.
Uses: This old-fashioned key set is a perfect decorative item for homes, offices, or themed interiors, adding a rustic and historical touch. It is also suitable for LARP events, medieval costumes, stage props or as a unique gift for history enthusiasts and collectors.
