Description
Handcrafted Medieval Sword Carrying Belt
Carry your sword with the authenticity and authority of a true medieval warrior with this handcrafted baldric leather. Inspired by historical designs from the late Middle Ages through the Renaissance, this cross-body belt keeps your swords secure while freeing your hands for battle, ceremony, or stage performance.
Made from genuine 3 – 3.2 mm thick leather, this baldric leather material gives long-term strength and rigidity. Each piece is hand-made and hand-dyed. As it ages, the leather develops a natural patina with time.
The solid brass buckle and rivets add strength and period authenticity, complementing the rugged look. Thanks to its adjustable design, this leather sword baldric comfortably fits a wide range of arming swords to rapiers for LARP, Renaissance fairs, or theatrical settings. Whether used as a baldric sword holder for combat or display, its versatility makes it a favourite among knights, adventurers and collectors.
Historical Note: By the 14th century, the sword belt baldric became a preferred carrying method for soldiers and officers.
