Description
Medieval Padded Collar for Armor Support & Impact Protection: This medieval padded collar is an important part of arming wear, to protect the collarbone, throat and upper shoulders. With three layers, it gives reliable cushioning and impact absorption during training, LARP combat, and staged performances.
The outer shell is made from durable cotton canvas, with dense recycled multi-fiber wadding. Together, these layers help reduce pressure from metal armor, preventing chafing, pinching, and bruising during extended wear.
Secure Fit & Compatibility with Medieval Armor: An adjustable leather strap with a brass buckle secures the padded neck guard comfortably around the neck. Two additional leather straps over the shoulders allow for easy attachment of pauldrons, making this collar fully compatible with most standard medieval gorgets and shoulder armor.
This design makes the collar stay in place during movement while maintaining proper alignment.
Comfort, Mobility & Historical Accuracy: The shape of this padded armour helps in natural head and shoulder movement, minimizing restriction. Its profile balances protection with comfort, making it suitable for fairs and theatrical combat.
Mixing medieval styling with practical modern construction, this cloth armor piece acts as both protective equipment and historically inspired arming wear.
