These Medieval Sabatons are designed in the iconic Mid 14th to Early 15th-century style. Sabatons were an essential part of a knight’s armor, protecting the feet while allowing mobility during combat. Worn alongside full plate armor, they were crafted to deflect blows with agility. 

These sabatons are heat treated stainless steel (RC 34 hardness), giving them enhanced strength and durability suitable for steel fighting, events, and stage use. The hardened construction ensures long-lasting performance while also being resistant to rust and requiring no regular oiling, making them very low maintenance compared to mild steel armor. 

The design has multiple articulated steel plates, carefully riveted to create a flexible structure that moves naturally with your foot. This articulation allows you to walk, stand, and perform comfortably without restriction, maintaining both authenticity and practicality. The overlapping lames are just like historical engineering, for both protection and smooth mobility.

At the rear, these sabatons include a protective back plate that shields the heel area, often overlooked in simpler designs. This is secured using genuine leather straps with adjustable holes and a sturdy buckle, for a snug and customizable fit. The leather used is natural, meaning each piece will have variations in texture and tone.

Additionally, the Medieval sabatons come with leather cord strings at the front, which help secure them to your footwear, enhancing stability during movement.
