Meticulously HANDFORGED from tough 18 gauge MILD STEEL, it is AVAILABLE AS BOTH BLACKENED AND POLISHED. Both versions can be used for medieval evocation, medieval fairs, and ren fairs as well. It is approximately 18.5 inches wide and 24 inches long. The metal handle is covered with wooden fittings and comes next to a genuine leather strap. Note: The polished version is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
