Our Lombardic Byzantine Lamellar plates are inspired by an early 7th century AD piece of armour that would make an excellent companion to your reenactments from the Early Medieval Period. These are directly inspired by a historic find of Niederstotzingen, Grab. Their shape and structure allow them to make a PERFECT LAMELLAR ARMOUR FOR YOUR TASSTETS.
These plates are HANDMADE from sturdy 20 gauge MILD STEEL. Each lamellar plate measures approximately 11.5 cm in length and approximately 2.5 cm in width. Each hole measures 3.5mm in diameter. A set of 100 pieces of these lamellar plates weighs approximately 1 Kg and 510 grams. Note: This set of lamellae is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
