Late Medieval Splint Arm Harness / Brigandine Arm Armour

299.99$

Directly inspired by 14th century and early 15th century sources, these historical splint arm harnesses use the classic technique typical of the brigandine/coat-of-plate set to create a unique vambrace offering good protection and mobility.

Well-designed by our skilled artisans from 3-3.2mm thick GENUINE LEATHER and STURDY 16 gauge MILD STEEL REINFORCING PLATES, these vambraces combine the best of the two worlds. They are FULLY FUNCTIONAL and are well suited for real-life combat or tournament. The set includes rerebrace + couter + vambrace and is easy to lace onto a pourpoint or gambeson. These run in ONE SIZE THAT FITS MOST.

Note: The steel plates on the structure are carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
