Description
This Roman bronze arrowhead is faithfully recreated after archaeological finds from the 1st–2nd century CE, when the Roman army perfected standardized projectile weaponry. Its leaf-shaped blade and tapered socket provided excellent armor penetration while securing firmly to wooden shafts.
Bronze remained a valued material for arrowheads during this era—favored for its casting ease, corrosion resistance, and battlefield durability, before iron gradually replaced it in later centuries. Lighter in form, this type was likely used by auxiliary archers for skirmishing and ranged harassment.
Craftsmanship
Individually lost-wax cast, each arrowhead captures the authentic detailing and surface finish of Roman originals. Subtle variations in color and form reflect the artisanal process, echoing the craftsmanship of ancient military suppliers.
