Our pair of steel pauldrons with besagues is a perfect addition to your knight’s armour! Here the pauldrons protect your shoulders, and the floating besagues protect the armpits. This allows them to cover the mail armour beneath, protecting the crucial axillary arteries without hampering your mobility.

These pauldrons are painstakingly HANDMADE from sturdy 16 gauge MILD STEEL and are FULLY FUNCTIONAL for a LATE MEDIEVAL KNIGHTLY REENACTMENT or TOURNAMENT. These are about These are available in one size that fits all and is extremely easy to lace with your gorget. Each has a curved length of about 27 cm, an upper curved width of about 26 cm, and a lower curved width of about 20 cm. Each rondel has a diameter of about 12.5 cm. The entire pair weighs about 2 Kg 280 grams.

Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
