Description
These Milanese mitten gauntlets are faithfully inspired by Italian armour of the late Middle Ages, designed for both authenticity and performance. Favoured by knights in heavy tournament combat, the mitten style offered superior hand and wrist protection while still allowing a functional grip.
The overlapping plates, broad knuckle guard, and segmented wrist lames replicate the classic Milanese style that dominated European armour design in the late 14th–15th centuries. With suede-lined interiors, these gauntlets provide both comfort and control, making them ideal for extended wear in reenactment battles, LARP, or stage combat.
