Greek Linothorax Cuirass Historical Greek / Macedonian Armor

This Linothorax is directly inspired by the glorious armour of Greek Hoplites of Athens and Sparta fighting the Persians or fighting each other during the Peloponnesian War. Later on, it was also worn by the famous Phalangists of Alexander ‘The Great’ army and by many members of his elite companion shock cavalry. This direct inspiration from the rich ancient history makes it a must-have for your personal collection or your next historical reenactment!

Painstakingly HANDCRAFTED from GENUINE LEATHER and ROBUST CANVAS, it is lighter and less prone to over-heating its wearer than contemporary bronze muscled cuirass. The long and sturdy leather pteruges hanging by the lower part of this linothorax provide additional protection for the groin and upper legs. A Gorgon Medusa antique brass adornment is firmly affixed right at the centre of the torso adding an additional little touch of authenticity to this already impressive armour.
